Described by the Boston Globe as "One of Boston's hottest band's," Kingston 530 has exploded onto the Boston music scene! With victories in the 2010 Boston Music Spotlight's Battle of the Bands and just a couple of months prior to that, a first place finish in Boston's site of the national Hard Rock Café's Ambassador's of Rock Competition Kingston 530 also became ambassadors to the Music Drives Foundation later that year and has worked with MDU for various charity events. K530 has taken the momentum of the battle victories along with the demand of their fans to hit the studio and record their debut album Long Time Coming for much of 2011.

On January 27, 2012, Kingston officially released their debut album appropriately titled Long Time Coming in a partnership with MDU at the Hard Rock Café in Boston! This promises to be the event that sets the tone for a truly momentous 2012. Kennedy from Mix 104.1 emceed this red carpet affair complete with a silent auction, raffles, fan activities, representatives from all over the Boston area, and not to mention 5 amazing bands; Nikolas Metaxas, In Like Lions, Massachusetts Delta, Your Sister's Canary and Kingston 530 to perform live! All of the proceeds raised for this event are going directly towards Music Drives Us and music programs throughout Massachusetts.

K530 strongly believes in the Music Drives Us mission and could not have found a better partner to release their much anticipated debut album Long Time Coming.
