The NAMM Foundation's mission is to advance active participation in music making across the lifespan by supporting scientific research, philanthropic giving and public service programs from the international music products industry.
Music Drives Us Foundation is proud to partner with the NAMM Foundation as we keep a watchful eye on Recreational Music Making programs throughout New England. Music Drives Us Foundation funds many of these programs which have been heavily researched and documented by NAMM funded initiatives which prove what many of us already suspected, music is a powerful.
Simply put, Recreational Music Making is a group of people who come together and communicate through musical instruments. People of all ages, all abilities and of diverse backgrounds come together and relate as one thru music. The most unlikely gathering of individuals can communicate beautifully through recreational music making.
