In this week’s episode, we asked Principal Katie Grassa of the Curley School for her perspective on why music should be taught in schools. She explains how music and the arts provide children with outlets to express themselves and to be heard, which are valuable skills for adulthood. She also describes how music crosses cultures and enables children to engage with and value one another. Most importantly, Principal Grassa explains how music has given children a reason to enjoy coming to school, enhancing their overall learning experience. We are glad to have been able to help reinstate the music program at the Curley School!
