Music Drives Us Celebrates 20 Years at the Massachusetts State House

What an incredible day!

Music Drives Us proudly celebrated its 20th Anniversary at the Massachusetts State House, bringing together supporters, partners, musicians, and community leaders for a memorable celebration of two decades of keeping music alive in New England schools and communities.

The event featured inspiring remarks from Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts Kim Driscoll, State Representative John Rogers of Norwood, and Ernie Boch Jr. whose continued passion and commitment have helped Music Drives Us make a lasting impact across the region! Their words reflected on the power of music to transform lives and celebrated the thousands of students, educators, and organizations that have benefited from the foundation's work over the past 20 years.

Our Ultimate Shredder winner John Fedele kicked off the ceremony with a rocking version of our National Anthem!

The State House was filled with energy thanks to an incredible turnout of supporters, local media, and members of the Music Drives Us family. Guests enjoyed complimentary ice cream and pastries while celebrating this important milestone together.

Guests enjoyed a special performance from the Perry School Brass Band-led by director Christopher Schroeder to wrap up the festivities.
