MUSIC DRIVES US GRANTS “STRUM BY THE SOUND” Music Program in CT
Music Drives Us had a wonderful day in North Haven, CT, visiting the Joyce C. Budrow Senior Center with our new friends at Strum by the Sound!
Thanks to an MDU instrument grant, we donated ukuleles, maracas, tambourines, and more—giving senior center members new ways to make music, connect, and have fun together.
The Strum by the Sound team jumped right in, helping bring the instruments to life and creating an afternoon filled with smiles, music, and community.
We love seeing firsthand that music doesn’t just belong in the classroom—it belongs everywhere!
