Music Drives Us Supports West Springfield’s Growing Band Program!
Last week, Music Drives Us was thrilled to present West Springfield Middle School in Springfield, MA, with a $10,000 instrument grant to support its growing music program.
The grant provided a variety of new instruments, including cellos, French horns, clarinets, flutes, saxophones, tubas, trombones, trumpets, violins, and xylophones—giving more students the opportunity to discover the joy of making music and helping the school’s program continue to grow.
We were also treated to a wonderful performance by the school’s 8th grade band. Their talent, energy, and enthusiasm made the celebration especially memorable and showcased what’s possible when students have the instruments and support they need.
Congratulations to West Springfield Middle School and its growing music program! Music Drives Us is proud to help put more instruments into the hands of young musicians and support the next generation of music makers.
