About the GuitARTIST

Name: Dale Stephanos
Hometown: Foxboro, MA

About the GuitART

Dale’s guitar was inspired by the “27 Club”, the name given to a group of artists who died tragically at the young age of 27. They were some of the most talented artists of their generation, and in their short lives made an enormous impact. This masterpiece honors rock legends who were gone too soon, including Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones, Jim Morrison, and Amy Winehouse.
Dale has made his living drawing pictures in one form or another since high school. His clients include Rolling Stone, Newsweek, Time, Sports Illustrated, Golf Digest, , The New Republic, The New York Observer, Mad magazine, The New York Times, The New York Post, The New York Daily News, The Boston Herald, The Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Dallas Morning News, Cincinnati Magazine, SF Weekly, The US Open, and many others.

In addition to working in full time freelance illustration, Dale runs his own gallery on Newbury Street in Boston. He exhibits regularly in several galleries nation wide, and also teaches illustration at Suffolk University and Lyme College of Fine Arts at the University of New Haven.
