Hometown: Boston, MA Guitar Title/Theme: Summer Sunny Sensory Saturation About the GuitARTThis 4-foot fiberglass acoustic guitar is inspired by the feeling of the wind, the sound of leaves, and the sights of the planet. Ned used blues and greens to depict different sights from across the planet. He hopes people will be moved by his piece and enjoy it as much as he does.

Please tell us a little bit about your background in art? Art school? Mediums used?
I'm about to graduate from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Illustration major.
When did you get interested in art?
I've always been interested in art. Paintings from books and comics have interested me since I can remember.
What is your favorite art piece that you created?
Every piece has to be your best.
What inspires your creativity? Who are your influences?
I like mostly American painters from the 1900s; Harvey Dunn, Dean Cornwell, Thomas Hart Benton, William Gilbert Gaul. I also like realist fiction like Steinbeck and Tolstoy and and others that influence staging and description in my paintings.
