THE LIVE PERFORMANCE

Finalists will go on to perform LIVE at Loretta’s Last Call in Boston on October 14th. Finalists will be notified by September 20th.

Equipment Rules:

  • You bring your own guitar, but the amp/backline may be provided.

  • No MIDI guitars, backing loopers, or multitrack devices (unless approved)

  • Wireless systems may be allowed, but must be tested in advance

Judging Criteria:

  • Judges will evaluate aspects such as speed, accuracy, technique, originality, and stage presence.

Disqualification Triggers:

  • Plagiarizing other solos

  • Exceeding the time limit

  • Auto-tuned guitars or looped pre-recorded leads
