Rochester Opera House’s “Studio to Stage”

Music Drives Us donates $6,000 in instruments to Rochester Opera House, expanding opportunities for youth through the Studio to Stage arts program.

Music Drives Us recently delivered $6,000 worth of musical instruments to the Rochester Opera House and the Rochester Performance and Arts Center—expanding access to hands-on music education for students in the community.

These instruments will directly support the Opera House’s Studio to Stage program, where students gain real-world experience in performance while building confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills. For many participants, this program is more than just an introduction to music—it’s a place where they discover their voice and connect with others in meaningful ways.

This donation reflects what Music Drives Us is all about: breaking down barriers to music education and making sure young people have the tools they need to explore their potential. Whether a student dreams of performing on stage or is simply looking for a creative outlet, access to instruments can be a life-changing first step.

We’re also grateful to our partners at Falcetti Music for helping us source and deliver quality instruments that are ready to be played from day one.
